The Rose Suite was used by a number of the Roberts boys, who were sent away to board at Gonzaga in the 6th grade. The suite was later used by visiting grandchildren.
Bill Roberts, at 93, the oldest living descendent, remembers staying in this suite and hearing the clang clang of the motorman turning the trolley around at the corner. The Rose Suite overlooks the Carriage House and Rose Garden on one side and the Secret Garden on the other. A queen size mahogany sleigh bed graces the room. The private bath features vintage fixtures. The Rose Suite has a comfortable reading chair, a queen size bed, a vanity makeup desk, and a private bath with a tub/shower combination.
